My stay at Simmer Motel surpassed all expectations. The OZ-themed suite, with its exquisite hand-painted murals, transported me to a whimsical realm reminiscent of Dorothy's adventures. The attention to detail in every room was truly remarkable, creating a picturesque ambiance perfect for my photography. The pet-friendly policy and expansive walking area were a bonus, adding to the overall convenience and comfort of the stay. The seamless experience of unloading directly from my car into the room, thanks to external entry doors, was a thoughtful touch that exemplified the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The meticulous cleanliness, modern bath amenities, and surprisingly comfortable bed with a thick pad added a touch of luxury to the vintage charm of the establishment. Simmer Motel in Wamego, with its friendly staff and proximity to local attractions, is a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers seeking a unique and memorable experience.
